This kind of thing is really getting sad. The breakdown of the Grand Old Party since Obama won has been a source of endless amusement, but even I have limits to the schaden I can freude. At some point, we'll probably need a functioning opposition party, or so my conservative friends keep insisting.
Here's my advice to Michael Steele: When you're in a hole, stop digging. Actually, this is John Dickerson's tip to you from that disastrous campaign you ran three years ago, but it still applies. Sadly.
