How dare you threaten our right to refuse you medical care!

Check out the new anti-gay video from the "National Organization for Marriage".

Apparently, health care workers who believe homosexuality is a sin have an inalienable right to refuse medical care to gays!

If this standard is going to be applied, I say it should cut both ways. Doctors who believe homophobia is wrong should have the option to let homophobes bleed out on the operating table. After all, how could you ask a doctor to act against his conscience?

I tell ya, the gay marriage issue is going to mortally wound the conservative movement. Abortion was something liberals had a hard time defending. Gay marriage isn't. Conservatives have let themselves play the role of the oppressors once again, and it is going to bite them in the ass so hard they'll think it was Gay Godzilla.
